I’m writing from home today, thanks to a sore throat, a migraine, and a developing cough. Normally I’d be overjoyed to have the opportunity to work from home because it means that I can stay in bed and forgo wearing makeup, doing my hair, and looking presentable, but today I would trade in all of those luxuries to return to my normal self because my to-do list is the longest it’s been in a while. Since I’m not thinking straight and I’m finding it a struggle to form complete sentences, I wanted to share (in picture form) a holiday makeup set that I’m currently lusting over.
Yesterday while I was catching on up Karen’s posts on makeupandbeautyblog.com, I fell in love with the Too Faced A Few Of My Favorite Things holiday 2013 set that she blogged about a couple days ago. Not only is it named after one of my favorite songs from The Sound Of Music, but the set has gorgeous pink and gold packaging and it includes a wide selection of neutral eyeshadows, two blushes, two of their famous bronzers, a deluxe sample size of mascara, and a pinky nude lip color for $64 CAD (it’s a $496 CAD value) at Sephora!
I’ve been using Too Faced makeup for years and a large majority of my Holy Grail eye shadows are from their past collections. I really enjoy the consistency and pigmentation of their eyeshadows and lip products, so if I got my hands on this holiday set I’d honestly be on cloud 9. I have yet to see this holiday set in person so I’m unable to share a review on it, but I’ve included some pictures from Karen’s post down below and I strongly encourage you all to read her review and check out her makeup blog. I’m sorry if you’ve now added this to your makeup wishlist, but this is the first product in a long time that I’ve been really excited about and I couldn’t help but share it with all of you!
